November 10-12, 2017
Hyatt Regency Long Island

Guests

Sylvester McCoy

Our guest from the very first L.I. Who is back: Sylvester McCoy returns to Long Island. The Seventh Doctor himself and the star of The Hobbit trilogy joins us this November. He returned to the world of Doctor Who in 2013 for The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot. Sylvester keeps the Seventh Doctor alive in the continuing audio adventures from Big Finish Productions.

Lalla Ward

Lalla Ward was the second actress to play the Time Lady Romana during the Fourth Doctor's era. Her first appearance was playing Princess Astra in "The Armageddon Factor". Ms. Ward was cast as Romana when Mary Tamm decided to depart the series. Romana regenerated at the beginning of "Destiny of the Daleks" and she departed the TARDIS with K9 at the conclusion of "Warriors Gate".

She reunites with her co-star John Leeson for a very rare U.S. convention appearance!

Katy Manning

By popular demand Katy Manning returns to Long Island. Ms. Manning portrayed Jo Grant for three seasons during the Third Doctor's era alongside Jon Pertwee. She reprised her role in 2010, joining Matt Smith and Elisabeth Sladen on an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures entitled "Death of the Doctor." This story can be found on the "The Green Death" Special Edition DVD with an audio commentary by Katy Manning and Russell T. Davies.

Ingrid Oliver

Ingrid Oliver became a fan favorite in 2013 with her appearance in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary story "The Day of the Doctor" as Petronella Osgood. She continued to portray the sciency wonder in the story "Death in Heaven" and last season's acclaimed two-parter "The Zygon Invasion" and "The Zygon Inversion".

Ms. Oliver also reprises her role as Osgood on audio in "UNIT: The New Series" from Big Finish Productions.

Ingrid Oliver is joining us Friday and Saturday only.

John Leeson

John Leeson is the long time voice of the Doctor's loyal robot companion K9. In addition to portraying the mechanical pup during the Fourth Doctor's era, John gave voice to K9 in many spin-offs including K-9 and Company, The Sarah Jane Adventures, K9, and in the Big Finish audio dramas. He famously brought the tin dog back to life in the Tenth Doctor story "School Reunion."

John guest starred twice in the TV series Blake's 7 and portrayed Dugeen in the Fourth Doctor story "Power of Kroll."

Barnaby Edwards

Barnaby Edwards first worked on Doctor Who in 1993 when he played a Dalek in "30 Years in the TARDIS" and has continued to portray the Doctor's arch nemesis numerous times since the show's return in 2005. Mr. Edwards is a prolific actor, writer, and director. He's been involved with countless Big Finish Productions audio dramas as well as Doctor Who-related video games, spin-offs, television appearances, and the 2003 "Shada" webcast.

Michael Troughton

Michael Troughton played Professor Albert in the 2014 episode "Last Christmas" opposite Peter Capaldi. He is the son of Patrick Troughton, the Second Doctor. Michael authored the biography of his legendary father Patrick Troughton: The Biography of the Second Doctor Who and its new anniversary edition. We're pleased to have Mr. Troughton join us for our continuing celebration of his father's era.
